Essential vitamins and minerals for small birds

HeproBird PRMX is specifically designed and developed for canaries, parakeets and tropical birds. Despite many attempts, it still remains difficult to formulate a complete food for birds.  The only possibility is extruding in a very small granules. The problem with this type of product is that the palatability is usually very poor and large quantities are spilled by the bird. But also the production costs are high and therefore it is too expensive compared with the average price of traditional seed.

A perfect alternative

Hepromij has now found an alternative that largely solves these problems. We have chosen for a premix which can be added to existing seed mixtures. The special structure and particle size ensures a optimal palatability. This special structure also ensures that the liquid vitamins and trace elements in the premix can penetrate in the most optimal way.

Cost effective USP

By coloring the premix, it will be clearly visible in the seed mixture, so the end consumer will recognize it immediately. It will provide the producers of the seed mixtures an opportunity to mark the premix as an extra USP to their product.

HeproBird PRMX cannot provide complete coverage of all necessary nutrients but only the most essential vitamins and trace elements. The optimal dose in a standard seed mixture is 10% but the producer will be free at its discretion to adjust this percentage.
