Most horsefeed consist out of grains. They contain all the necessary nutrients, but look the same to the consumer. That is why Hepromij has developed an assortment of horse muesli's that not only look tasty, but are also very healthy.

This development started more than 20 years ago, when Hepromij was one of the first with animal food existing out of multiple components. This special kind of animal food we now proudly refer to as Multiple Component Food: MCF®.

The MCF's® are characterized by a large variation in raw materials. They are guaranteed free from dust - so ideal for horses that are susceptible to colic - and contain very few fine particles. Because we use puffed and crushed ingredients, they are not only more palatable, but also very attractive to present. Moreover, they can absorp more oil and fat than regular grain. All this contributes to a better condition, a shiny skin and a healthier horse.

A horse prefers to eat small quantities during the day. Wild horses are about 60 percent of their time busy in grazing or seraching other food (roots, stems or bark). All this food is rich of fiber and poor on energy. The HeproHorse MCF's® closely correspond to this natural food pattern. It is superfluous to say that all MCF's® contain the right amount of vitamins, minerals, trace elements and essential amino acids to keep the horse or pony vital.

From the basic MCF's® for foals, leisure horses, sport horses and older horses we can tailor make the MCF® to your specific needs by adding flavourings, rich fiber materials, premixes and other raw materials. We can also cooperate with you to develop special diet MCF's® with specific claims to it. These claims can be used again in your marketing and communication. So you can get that competitive edge!

Tailor made blends of unique ingredients

Based on our comprehensive package of specific materials and production methods, we produce for other producers across the world semi finished products: PRMX.

This PRMX gives manufacturers the ability to upgrade their existing recipes or formulate new ones in combination with their own raw materials.

Hepromij strives to serve a complete range of products and services. Of course completely produced food out of our factory complies to the most optimal conditions as premium products.

Yet there could be reasons for intermediate solutions that use the special materials and production techniques of Hepromij. Together with our expertise a PRMX can be integrated into existing feed and give it a facelift. All the elements are discussed in consultation with the client and adjusted with the flexibility that is characteristic of Hepromij.

In our small trial mixing installation we can produce on a small scale examples and already show the desired mixtures by sending them to you with our parcel service. This service prevents unnecessary costs and time.

Highly concentrated energy

HeproHorse Energy is a highly concentrated energy supplement for horses and ponies based on very high content of vegetable oils. The composition gives an exclusive varied essential fatty acid pattern. It is ideal for:

• Sport horses
• Horses with muscle problems
• Too violent / fierce horses
• Horses with a chapped condition
• Colic sensitive horses
• Old horses
• Replacement of oil addition to rations 

Benefits

In addition HeproHorse Energy gives extra resistance and improves fertility in both the stallion and the mare. It is composed out of a 3 vegetable oils, linseedoil, soyaoil and coconutoil. This combination provides a unique composition of the different fatty acids, with extra attention to the essential fatty acids. We put it on a unique carrier in order to get optimal pallatibility which makes it very easy to implement. Benefits of oils as compared with starch and sugar as an energy supplier are:

HeproHorse Mineral Blocks are a tasty combination of vitamins, minerals and trace elements that can serve as a valuable addition to the daily ration. Especially in the case of unilateral rations and/or low quality of hay/oats, the Mineral Blocks take care for the supply of all minerals and vitamins for the horse. This can fully meet the metabolic needs of the horse. A HeproHorse Mineral Block corresponds to the daily needs of a large horse.

Light and easy 

Due to a special process the HeproHorse Mineral Blocks are very hard pressed. The product is specifically designed for the conduct of grazing horses, robust kept horses and travelling sport horses. The big advantage is that the Mineral Blocks can be easily transported and are very easy to use. The annoying extra weight of minerals and feed can be deleted. In addition, the Blocks are very easy to distribute for use with small horses.
