Rodents that are kept as pets, have an entirely different environment compared with their wild species. Therefore it is not enough to just add those ingredients which the animals are used to eat in the wild in the composition of the MCF®. The way in which nutrients, such as minerals, are absorbed in the body, is quite different with a complete food than when the animal would find its food in the wild. One should also take into account important factors such as the lack of movement and disruption of the day and night rythm.

Developed and produced by experts In collaboration with experts Hepromij has developed a range of premium food for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas and rat & mice. These MCF's® have a taste and texture that is tailored to the species. The MCF® is 100 percent free of dust, which is important because some species quickly develop a dust allergy. Moreover the MCF's® saturate faster due to their volume so that the animal does not overeat out of boredom.

Specific and unique claims Hepromij is able to address specific claims to the MCF® so that they discourage some common problems or become suitable for animals with certain diseases. Together with you we look at what demands the MCF® must comply and which additives could be of added value. Based on our comprehensive package of specific materials and production methods, we produce for other producers across the world semi finished products: PRMX.

This PRMX gives manufacturers the ability to upgrade their existing recipes or formulate new ones in combination with their own raw materials.

Hepromij strives to serve a complete range of products and services. Of course completely produced food out of our factory complies to the most optimal conditions as premium products.

Yet there could be reasons for intermediate solutions that use the special materials and production techniques of Hepromij. Together with our expertise a PRMX can be integrated into existing feed and give it a facelift. All the elements are discussed in consultation with the client and adjusted with the flexibility that is characteristic of Hepromij.

In our small trial mixing installation we can produce on a small scale examples and already show the desired mixtures by sending them to you with our parcel service. This service prevents unnecessary costs and time.
